MEDICAL MACHINE VISION WORKSHOP
COURSE OVERVIEW Medical Machine Vision is a special one day course that was designed to deliver better understanding on the operating principle of modern days screening machines. The procedures involved in generating images as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each type of machine are discussed in details. This course will also teach the basic programming skills in images processing. It covers wide variation of image processing techniques which are essential in medical image analysis, such as edge detection techniques, contrast enhancement techniques, etc. Several significant technology advancement in computer aided diagnosis (CAD) system will also be presented during the course to keep participants up to date with the flow of technologies in medical imaging. Participants will get the first hand experience on some of the new diagnosis software. The course instructor will draw on his vast experience in image processing and medical imaging field to illustrate the subject matter in an efficient and easy to understand manner.

Better understanding in medical machine vision, basic image processing programming skills, analytical skills in medical images and image enhancement techniques to improve the quality of medical images.
